The Community Closet is Back – Free Clothing for Those Who Need It Most

We’re thrilled to share that the Community Closet is open again!

Run by the Social Planning Council of Ottawa, the Community Closet is a free clothing program that helps connect gently used clothing donations with individuals and families in need across our city.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we’re able to reduce waste and make sure good-quality clothes find a second life with someone who needs them.

What We’re Looking For

As the weather warms up, we’re especially in need of summer-friendly items, including:

  • T-shirts

  • Shorts

  • Tank tops

  • Dresses

  • Lightweight clothing

All sizes and styles are welcome!

How to Donate

Donations can be dropped off at:

815 St. Laurent Blvd., Room 225
Ottawa, ON

Please make sure all items are clean and in good condition.
